You can take the Cable car or the Donkey Route from the Port or you can just take a cab by the roads. ( DO NOT RIDE A DONKEY YOU HAVE 2 LEGS WALK, DONKEYS ARENT PUT ON EART TO TAKE YOU UP THE STEPS IN FIRA. I DON’T CARE IF ITS TRADITION )
FIRA is what I would call the hussle and bussle of Santorini, full of social life, night life, shops and beautiful restaurants. Lets not forget the wonderful scenery with one of the stand out features is the mesmorising Caldera view which will leave you speechless. Some of the standout landmarks are The Megaro Gyzi Cultural centre and the two cathedrals in Fira are worth a visit too. Two very interesting museums and the best in Santorini are here too, they are the archaeological Museum of Thera and the Museum of Prehistoric Thera. All different types of stays here from luxury hotels with amazing views to camping and hostels to fix all budgets.
